Scott Mead has also provided compositional talent
to many projects, including jingle work and original
soundtrack development for commercial ad campaigns,
including Philips Consumer Electronics, Dominos
Pizza, and many individual artists.
"In recent years, my engineering talents
have led to involvement in the video production
industry with my relocation to beautiful Southern
California. I have found that the focus on superior
sound is often missing from great video and film
production, and I have enjoyed offering my service
to that need. In the process, I have become fond of
the visual world, and have become the editor of
choice for many local production houses, having
acquired a deeper loving relationship with the
entire Adobe application family, as well as nearly
every video production application under the
sun."
"Oh, and I earned the nickname, 'Krispy.'
This reflected, according to one writer, a 'taut,
perfectionist zeal demonstrated in the course of the
work"... which really was me wanting to get the
sound 'just right' and being committed to an ideal I
knew could exist. Getting 'Krispy' in the process as
the tracks became well-baked. You could say
Krispiness is an ingredient in the successes I
achieve."
