announced the creation
of Grasshopper Talent
in the fourth quarter
of 2004,
a talent agency for
new bands and lesser
-known musicians.
"The talent
search begins on-line,
and concludes with the
best artists winning a
spot in the
Mead
Library for
commercial rights that
may be purchased by a
well-known Fortune 500
company,"
explains Mead.
A
natural extension of
the custom music
offerings and
engineering talent
that Mead is known
for, he created the
new music talent
agency to answer a
growing need for
cutting edge new
musicians and their
arrangements for
television sports and
advertising, radio
spots, and film
scoring.
Mead

there are 25 artists
slated for the
agency's roster and
more than 75 that did
not make the cut. I

ability to produce
music that is well
defined, original, and
